Supplements

Scientific data points that some dietary supplements are advantageous for overall health and for maintaining some health conditions. For instance, calcium and vitamin D are essential for preserving bones healthy and reducing bone loss; folic acid reduces the risk of specific congenital disabilities; and, omega-3 fatty acids from fish oils might help some people with heart disease.
